My Own Starbucks Idea

Forfeit a latte or cappacino every three days or so and give that money towards a child in Asia who will probably never have Starbucks. I appreciate a good latte as much as anyone, but I know I do not need them.

Watch: Hope For The Least Of These

South Asia is home to 300 million Dalits—people known to the rest of the world as "Untouchables." The Dalits are considered subhuman by their culture. They are forced to live in deplorable conditions and work in virtual slavery. Despite their hopeless situation, God has been building an amazing "bridge of hope" and things are beginning to change.

You Can Do Something

  • Average Cost of a Latte or Cappuccino: $2.80 and up depending on size
  • Figure 30 days per month
  • Every 3rd day - save $2.80
  • $2.80 x 10 = $28
  • With $28 a month you can Sponsor A Child

The Gospel for Asia Bridge of Hope Child Sponsorship program is slightly different than some of the programs out there. With the tremendous need of children across Asia and the world, there can never be enough programs.

This particular program gives 100 percent of your sponsorship to the program, none is taken out for administrative costs.

Find out more about the Bridge of Hope.

When this life is over ...

a cup of coffee will not mean quite as much as we think it does now.

But the cost of one cup per day may very well mean life for a child in Asia today.

When this life is over ...

a dollar a day will not mean quite as much as we think it does now.

But the dollar a day may very well mean life for a child in Asia today.

When this life is over ...

we won't be concerned with our collections

But a lesser interest in our physical collections today may very well mean life for a child in Asia today.

Save the whale money

take your save the whale money and re-direct it to save a child, to any of the millions of children in Asia who could really benefit from the money
